Prices listed in drop-downs

The Base Price for all products are always listed
at the top [right] of the product page.  You can think of the Base Price as the price of that item, without value-added options.

Some products have Options listed in a drop-down at the bottom of the page.  Certain Options rarely add to the base price.  A good example, are colors.  Different color selections rarely add value to the total price of a product.

Certain products have Options that rarely add to the price, like colors.

_______________________________________________________________

Some of the Options in a product's drop-down list, do add to the Base Price.  The cost of the Option that is added, reflects the value added to the base price.  i.e. Base Price + Option Value Added  = total price for that selection.

Options with added value, are always listed in the drop-down with a plus or minus sign and a number like "(+ $17.00)" at the end of the Option description.  Some options subtract value from the base product.  ex: "(- $5.00)"  For options that subtract value, I've tried to put the total price toward the end of the Option's description to avoid confusion.  You will always see the added [or subtracted] value listed at the end of the option within the parenthesis "()".  If a notation does not appear at the end of an Option's description, then the Option adds/subtracts no value.

Note:  The first Option listed in the drop-down list is always the base product with no options added.  You can see that in the photo shown below.  The second entry, shows an added value.

Example:  A plain gun sight would typically be listed as a product, with something like Fiber Optics, Tritium Lamps, etc, listed as Options.  i.e. One of these Options was added to a plain sight during manufacturing, so the price of that item would be the Base Price plus the Option selected.

Some of the Options in a drop-down list, add to the Base Price.

NOTE:

The total price of a product with options [Base Price plus the Option] will always be reflected in your Shopping Cart.

When in doubt, select the option, add the product to your Shopping Cart, and check the price once it is in the cart.  You can always remove it, if you change your mind.

Don't forget!  If you have an account, and you have your eye on something that you'll want after the next payday, you can always add that product to your own Wish List.  You don't need to buy Wish List items right away.  Later, you can come back, and move the Wish List item into your Shopping Cart, to purchase it!
